Yes. The full app — wear timer, daily goal ring, smart reminders, 30-day history, tray-change tracker, and dark mode — is completely free with no ads and no time limit. No credit card, no sign-up, no catch.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Yes. TrayZen is built offline-first. All your wear data is stored directly on your device. You never need an internet connection to use any core feature of the app.
Do I need to create an account?
No account required. TrayZen works completely anonymously. Just download, set your daily goal, and start tracking. No email, no password, no Apple ID sign-in.
Does it work for Invisalign, retainers, and other aligners?
Yes. You choose your tracking type during setup — Invisalign, Retainer, or Other. The daily goal pre-fills to 22 hours for Invisalign and 8 hours for night retainers, but you can adjust it anywhere from 8 to 24 hours in 30-minute increments.
What happens if I forget to log that I took my trays out?
You can edit your history retroactively. On the History tab, tap any day to see your sessions, then add a missing session, adjust the start or end times on an existing one, or delete an accidental entry.
Is Apple Watch supported?
An Apple Watch companion is coming soon. It will let you toggle trays in and out from your wrist and show your daily progress as a watch face complication — without needing to take your phone out of your pocket.
